Meet the Artist
A native of the Lowcountry, I have always loved discovery and adventure. The middle of 3 children, I grew up involved in every sport, play, and activity one can imagine. I was lucky enough to have a family who supported me in everything I did. With a knack for anything creative, I took drawing, painting and acting lessons throughout childhood and into my adult years.
At age 18, I moved to Atlanta, GA and attended Oglethorpe University on academic scholarships. I played both soccer and basketball for the university. I was also the Vice President of my Sorority, Chi Omega, and I was also involved in the university's theater program. In perfect me-fashion, I decided to take the path less traveled and construct my own major. I developed a program at Oglethorpe known as "Art and Visual Communication." The program included academic learnings from studio art to business classes, to advertising to psychology studies. I was constantly initiating and engaging in internships such as film production companies, direct marketing firms, and design & event planning agencies.
In 2006, I moved to France for 6 months to study art, international advertising and global marketing at the International University of Monaco. In 2008, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Oglethorpe University and began interning at Moxie Interactive, a well renowned and innovative interactive advertising agency. Within 3 months, I was hired on as a full time employee working on the interactive advertising and new media designs for the Verizon Wireless account.
In 2009, I decided I missed the Lowcountry and moved back to Savannah, GA. I am currently the Director of Digital Marketing at TMX Finance Family of Companies. My favorite hobbies, in addition to art and design, include sailing, hiking, and all things coastal. I am passionate about animals and volunteer much of my free time helping organizations find homes for homeless animals, promoting the better treatment of animals, and spreading the word about how animal homelessness can be prevented! I enjoy anything new and exciting, but also adore the traditions of a southern lifestyle.
